The Department of Migrant Workers confirmed that 39 Filipino seafarers aboard two commercial vessels affected by drone attacks near Novorossiysk, Russia, are safe and accounted for.

The total includes 17 Filipino crew members of M/V Anna S and 22 aboard M/V Elina B. The Elina B had assisted the Anna S crew after an earlier incident, and its own crew was later reported safe and unharmed.
