Context

Context

The fishermen encountered strong winds and rough seas, prompting the boat captain to move closer to shore and anchor near Barangay Poblacion I in Santa Cruz. When conditions improved, they proceeded to Sitio Tabok in Barangay Buenavista, Sablayan, to seek safer shelter.

The Coast Guard and the Sablayan disaster office verified their location. All five were in good condition, no injuries were reported and their boat was found without damage or other problems.
